Drying Drums

The key criterion for the design of Amomatic drying drums has been economy of operation. Correct dimensions of the drum and the burner are the crucial factors. Amomatic high quality burners can use light oil, heavy oil or gas. The drum rotation speed is controlled by an inverter to suit different raw materials and weather conditions.

Construction

The drum cylinders are made of heat resistant steel and are insulated. Rubber sealing and labyrinth sealing at the drum-ends enable an optimum vacuum creation inside the drum. All paddles inside the drum are bolt mounted for easy replacement. The drum is equipped with an integrated coarse dust collector. There is no need for additional coarse particle separator or for a coarse dust conveyor.
