Amomatic recycling equipment have been developed and tested for modern asphalt plant demands. This is environmental and cost effective way to save natural recourses. Amomatic has several years of experience in using recycling asphalt in Scandinavia. It´s possible to mix 60% of used asphalt and even more for any recipe, depending on local regulations. The modular construction of Amomatic recycling equipment makes it easy to transport and it can be incorporated also to existing asphalt plants. Equipment includes own main electrical center and AmoControl system. AmoControl system is easy to operate also with existing control systems.

Construction:
Amomatic has two ways to add recycled asphalt in the process:
1. Directly to the drying drum via recycling ring.
It’s possible to use 10 % recycled asphalt via screen and up to 20% via by-pass. This equipment includes hopper with variable speed feeder, conveyor belt with belt scale and recycling ring in the drying drum. Recycled asphalt goes in to the drying drum via recycling ring; it’s heated and mixed with virgin material. From the drying drum the heated material goes to the mixing tower with normal hot elevator.

2. Parallel drum system.
It’s possible to use 60 % and more recycled asphalt. This equipment includes hopper with variable speed feeder, belt conveyor, elevator, frequency inverter controlled drying drum, buffer silo, scale and screw conveyor to the mixer. Buffer silo, scale and screw conveyor are heated by electric heaters. Recycled asphalt is heated in parallel drum; exhaust gases are blown with separate fan to the main drum where gases are burned in the main burner to avoid emissions. Heated material goes through the buffer silo to the scale and after scale via screw conveyor to the mixer. In the scale needed amount of recycled asphalt is weighed to each batch. Virgin material can be screened and weighed separately to the mixer.
